Are You Proud?

We were delighted to take a group of Year 10 students to Plymouth Arts Cinema for a free screening of Are You Proud?

The film features rare archive footage and interviews across a spectrum of historical campaigns and current activists in the United Kingdom celebrating the LGBTQ+ Pride movement's landmark achievements. The film was very informative and it was interesting to see the history of the Pride movement in the UK and the current LGBTQ+ discussions being had both nationally and globally.

This event was part of the IntoFilm festival and provided us with a fantastic enrichment opportunity to our PSHE curriculum.
