On 4th November, local professional theatre company “Scratchworks Theatre Company” came to Millbay Academy to perform their new touring performance “The Grimm Sisters” to Performing Arts students in Year 9, 10 and 11. This was followed by a 2 hour devising workshop for Year 11 students who are currently studying BTEC Tech Award in Performing Arts. Year 11’s final exam project is a devising project and students are currently working in groups on their mock, so was a highly beneficial opportunity to learn about devising approaches and techniques from a professional company.
