Mila in year 4 provided the inspiration for our recent mufti day!! Mila and her family recently raised £660.60 after they decided to do a bake sale on a an epic scale to raise money for Wave after Wave. Inspired by her fundraising success Millbay Academy Primary wanted to support Mila and organised a Mufti Day on Thursday to raise more funds for Wave after Wave!

It was really lovely to see the children arrive in their colourful clothes and we thank you very much for the donations; together we raised £160 for Wave After Wave to add to Mila’s fantastic fund-raising. This is a brilliant local group who hope to raise enough money to install a community defibrillator on the beach at Firestone Bay, maintained by the South Western Ambulance Trust.
