Hamilton Workshop with West End Performer!

Year 10 Performing Arts students had the amazing opportunity to have a virtual workshop with Elle Vincent who is a West-End performer. She has performed in many shows including “Hamilton”, “Avenue Q” and “Jane Eyre”.

Year 10 Performing Arts students are studying “Hamilton” as part of the BTEC course. This workshop was an amazing chance to learn from a West-End professional who was in the show. The workshop included learning some choreography from “Hamilton” and understanding the meaning behind the steps. We also had a Q&A with Elle all about the show, the process of auditions, drama schools and all about the Professional Theatre Industry.

The workshop was wonderful the way Elle broke down the choreography for all to learn and understand the meaning for each step. It was also hugely insightful to understand more about the role of ensemble and understudy.

Beautiful Costumes designed by Year 8!

Year 8 students designed their own costumes for a range of characters in Romeo and Juliet. They could choose any era or style they wanted.

Their designs were not only beautiful but really well thought-out with how colours can represent meaning for the characters as well as using historical accuracy and research.
