Year 5 make maps and explain the water cycle!

In English Year 5 have been working hard demonstrating their understanding of explanation texts, through researching and writing explanations of the water cycle. Students have also been making a typographical Map of the UK. They will be adding watercolour pictures (inspired by Chris Robinson - local Plymothian historian and artist) to the map over the next week. In doing this, the children will explain how Plymouth has changed and predict how it will continue to change. Students have really enjoyed developing their watercolour skills in preparation for their landscape pieces.
